In this 2-hour live webinar, students will:

• Define trauma, and identify behaviors of trauma survivors
• Define trauma informed care through lecture and discussion of articles and other materials
• Develop an understanding of why trauma informed care is important in communicating with all clients, and which clients are at higher risk for trauma
• Develop ways to communicate from a trauma informed approach with clients through role play and discussion
