About Table Thai Massage: Thai massage, traditionally performed on a mat on the floor, is modified in this class for the massage table. Using compression, stretching, pin-and-stretch, movement, and rocking, you’ll learn to move the client into assisted yoga postures, all while they remain fully clothed.

What You’ll Learn:
• Discover moves that are both effective for the client and easy on the therapist’s body.
• Learn a full-body beginner Thai routine on the massage table, prone and supine.
• Embrace side-lying massage as a powerhouse position for mobilizing hips, shoulders, necks, and ribcages with ease.
Who Can Attend: This is a beginner class with no prerequisites. You’ll learn a full 60-120 minute routine, making it perfect for those new to Thai massage or looking to refine their skills.
What to Expect:
• Hands-on practice time to perfect each movement and create muscle memory.
• Receive each technique yourself to understand the client’s experience.
• Lots of demonstration and hands-on practice.
Class Materials Provided:
• Handouts to take home for easy reference.
• Access to a YouTube video of all the techniques covered in class.
What to Bring:
• Massage table
• Fitted bottom sheet
• Face cradle cover
• Pillow and pillowcase
• Hand Towel
Attire: Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing as we’ll be working on each other fully clothed.
